I have a confession to make, I quit reading multi-chapters stories about four months ago...maybe longer, either way, it was a long time ago and I have to say I have missed it so much. I didn't realize how much so until I accidentaly picked up a fic last night and started reading again. I found this story truly recc worthy and wanted to share it with you but while on the phone to Nikki last night, I realized there was a backstory to this recc and we decided to share the story of how Daniel Gale came to my inbox.

So the night before last I ended up reading a story which has claimed a lot of thinking time of late...you know, when you see some thing you don't know or are unsure about but you don't want to ask for fear of asking yet another stupid question...well...last night I finaly found my answer to my unspoken, unanswered conundrum. And I didn't even need to ask!

While stalking the halls on Twitter, I befriended the amazing @annetteskitty. I quickly became intrigued with her avatar, and hands up, I did NOT recognise RPatzz behind those delicious geek glasses... my darlin's will be so ashamed of my lustful thoughts, but a good avi is a good avi...and THAT, my friends is a tasy avi! Here is some yummy Daniel Gale for your eyes to rest on for a moment...

So, I'm tweeting away, procrastinating as usual, and I see a link to a blog about Daniel Gale. And the name Daniel Gale has been tweeted about for a while now, or rather, Daniel Gale H00rs tweets have been circulating and I've been confused, but stupidly I didn't ask what they were about. I'm flicking around, tweet tweet tweet and then click. You never guess what I find...I find the face behind the avatar I have been wondering about and like a dirty little secret I click the about hoping no one is watching while I try to work out what is going on...

I start reading...I'm giggling, then sniggering to myself. You have to check out this blog and go follow these awesome h00rs immediatly. A google search later and I finally find out who Daniel Gale is.  He is an increidbly charasmatic yet geeky character from The Bad Mothers Handbook. Needing to fiund out more, I quickly ended up on YouTube where I watched this video:

Then I go back to the blog and I find this link to to a fic over on FFn and Twlighted and I decided to take a read, unsure of what I was going to find. I was not expecting to find a) Twilgiht and b) Rob Pattinson when I started my quest but boy am I glad I did. About four paragraphs into the first chapter this happens:

Daniel Gale: Cumming To America is a Twilight cross over fic. For those of you who havn't read a Twilight cross over fic I would highly reccomend this one as basicaly, there is a backstory to Daniel Gale should you wish to further investigate as I did, however, if you subsitute Daniel for Geekward, you could kid yourself that it was entierly FFn Twight and Team Edward. There is of course a Bella, there is a hilarous Emmett and canon Rose and Alice...and oh lord, an OOC Carlisle that had me in pieces!

Daniel Gale is a complete Geek and...*Le Gasp* My favourite Geek out there! And we all know how much I adore my geeky guys, so Daniel is holding a mighty high torch right now. This piece is exceptionaly well written and you totaly feel for Daniel and the awkward positions he finds himself in. His perverted thoughts  however in these predicaments have me rolling, and I have to share a little with you as the whole tone of this fic is hilarious.

“I’m Emmett, welcome to the US my man!” His large hand reached toward me.

“Th-thank you,” I stuttered out and grasped his hand. Emmett’s meaty hand crushed my long thin fingers and my previous thought that we would be just like ‘two peas in a pod’ flushed down the idea drain. There was no way that this All-American guy would want to hang around the awkward likes of me. I suppose that I can just be as quiet and invisible as possible. We could still get along and manage to be civil after all. I internally shrugged at myself.

“So, top or bottom?” He interrupted my thoughts and raised his brow at me.

"Whaaat?" I choked.

"Do you like it on the top or the bottom?"

My mind instantly flashed to Emmett pinning me down and jamming what I was pretty sure would be a large penis into my ass. My cheeks immediately tightened up.

"I like to be on the bottom, if that's OK with you." he continued.

I was totally speechless.

“The bunks –” He offered when I didn’t answer. “Do you want the top bunk or bottom?” My body relaxed when I understood what he was referring to. “Personally I think that a feather weight such as you would probably work out better on top. Is that alright with you?”

I read the current six chapters at whimsical speed and I'll probably re-read them again before the next chapter updates and probably there again after! I wish I had something fluid and lyrical to wax for you but honestly, all I can say right now is I laughed my ass off. There are no two ways about it, Daniel Gale has stolen a piece of me and I couldn't be happier about it.
