I've known you for what now...almost 2 years? Wow. We've had some downs, but mostly we've had ups. And I will always consider you to be one of my closest friends here, someone I could always trust no matter what. I'm so lucky I met you. It's not just me that's lucky. It's the entire fandom. Best Friend. Wikipedia defines it as someone (singular) with whom one shares the strongest possible kind of friendship. That is true, but they are missing a few things. So here is a list of what a best friend is to me.

• Someone who you can call and explain why your tits suddenly hurt.
• Someone who listens to you rant about the most obscene thing seen that day.
• Someone who will laugh and cry with you about the latest Glee episode.
• The first person you think to drunk dial when you've gone in the I love you stage.
• The first person that comes to mind when you see something funny or sad throughout your day.
• The person who inspires you to be a better person.
• The person who no matter what tells you the truth. Even when it hurts.
• The person who unconditionally understands when you're just having a bad day.
• And the person who tries to make that bad day better.
• They are in your cheerleader, coach and team mate.
• A best friend is the person you can turn to when your world goes dark.
• A best friend is the person you truly love, hate and then love again.

Husbands may come and go but Best Friends are always there. Especially to kick husbands asses no questions asked.

Keira, I've known you for maybe 2 years (bad at math) but it feels like I've known you forever. No matter what our distance is, you've always been there. You've been in my corner during the good, bad and manic times. You believe in me when I don't believe in myself. You give me faith when my world seems faithless. You slap sense in me when I'm about to do something stupid.

I've never had any brothers or sisters. I don't know what it is like to have someone like that. But you have been that. You have been not only a best friend to me but a sister. Blood may be thicker than water but add enough love into that water you never know what it will become.

I love you tons. Like FUCKING TONS. You are a beautiful, crazy, smart, kind, funny, and a bigillion other things under the sun. Happy Birthday, big sis!
