Cam, Cam Joslin Gigandet was born on August 16th, 1982 in Tacoma, Washington. He mtook the plunge and moved to California in 2001 and started taking acting classes. Two years later he made his acting debut in CSI. Cam’s probably most known television role would have to be the role of Kevin Volchok, the bad boy surfer, on The O.C. Cam played another bad boy in the 2007 action drama Never Back Down. We got to see more of a shirtless Cam. He won Best Fight at the 2008 MTV Movie Awards for his role in that film. He followed that up with a second win for Best Fight the next year. This time for his fight with Robert Pattinson in Twilight.
Unfortunately Cam’s character met his demise in the first film of the series (untimely in my opinion) and didn’t return for any of its sequels. But that doesn’t mean that he hasn’t been a very busy boy. He has starred in an array of different films from horror (The Unborn, Priest) to comedy (Easy A) with a little musical in between (Burlesque). Not only has he been successful in the box office, him and his girlfriend welcomed a baby girl, Everleigh Raw Gigandet, in 2009.
Two films later, we meet the innocent turned villain Riley Biers played by the sexy man with an equally sexy accent, Xavier Samuel. Xavier, born Decemeber 10, 1983, hails all the way from Hamilton, Australia. He got his start doing stage work in plays such as A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Rover. He moved to the small screen in the Australian TV show McLeod’s Daughters.
This year he won Best Fight at the MTV Movie Awards this past Sunday for his fight with Robert Pattinson and Bryce Dallas Howard. Along with Twilight: Eclipse, this Ozzie has starred in films such as Newcastle, The loved Ones and the upcoming historical thriller, Anonymous.
In fanfiction, both James and Riley tend to be depicted as the villain still. Albeit in vamp or human fics, people just can’t get enough of making these two hot guys the bad ones. Not to say there is anything wrong with a bad boy from time to time. Being good all the time can’t be too fun. Can it?
